About
Dougie Cunningham is from Glasgow. He moved to the Lake District in early 2008 and has to admit that he's loving the place! In his defense, he doesn't believe that anyone that likes walking, climbing, biking or kayaking could possibly fail to like it. If they're a photographer too, then frankly there's no reason to live anywhere else. Dougie firmly believes that his images are best enjoyed with a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake, and to that end an exhibition of his landscape work will be on display in Wilf's Cafe in Staveley from the 1st May 2009. Not only is the artwork on the walls good, the chilli is excellent, the cake plentiful and it's the perfect base for a day out mountain biking. If you've never visited then now's the time! (The Hawkshead Brewery is right next door too....) Prints are available to order through the website and are produced to order by Dougie himself. This allows him the total control over quality that any mildly obsessive photographer must insist on. The prints are produced on high quality photographic matte paper, using the latest pigment-based inks to guarantee longevity and will be shipped to you rolled in a tube to ensure safe arrival. Framed prints are available at Wilf's, but not from the website for the moment (unless you ask nicely....). Delivery times will be around one week to ten days, depending on workloads and the Royal Mail. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions then get in touch through the contact page or the guestbook. |
